This Privacy Policy describes how Enspirawerks LLC ("Enspirawerks," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the RideAhead mobile application ("the App"). By using RideAhead, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
- Location data. RideAhead is a navigation app; precise GPS location is required for routing, turn-by-turn navigation, fuel stop planning, and arrival detection. Location is processed while the App is in use (and in the background during active navigation, if you allow it).
- Route and trip information. Destinations you enter, saved addresses (such as Home and Work), favorites, recent destinations, and planned routes.
- Vehicle profile. Information you provide about your motorcycle, such as fuel range, used to plan fuel stops.
- Device and usage information. Device model, operating system version, app version, crash logs, and basic usage analytics used to fix bugs and improve the App.
- Purchase information. If you buy a premium subscription or feature, the transaction is processed by Apple or Google. We receive confirmation of the purchase but never your payment card details.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide routing, navigation, fuel stop planning, and other App features.
- To remember your saved places, favorites, and preferences.
- To diagnose crashes, fix bugs, and improve performance and features.
- To process and honor premium purchases.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. What We Do NOT Do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not share your location history with advertisers or data brokers.
- We do not build advertising profiles from your riding data.
4. Third-Party Services
RideAhead relies on third-party services to work, and some data is shared with them to deliver core functionality:
- Routing and mapping providers (such as Google Maps Platform and Mapbox) receive route origins, destinations, and waypoints to calculate directions.
- App platforms (Apple App Store, Google Play) handle distribution, payments, and may collect their own diagnostics per their policies.
These providers process data under their own privacy policies, and we share only what is necessary for the feature to function.
5. Data Storage and Retention
Saved places, favorites, and vehicle profiles are stored [on your device / in your account — CONFIRM]. Diagnostic and analytics data is retained only as long as needed for troubleshooting and improvement. You can delete saved data in the App, and uninstalling the App removes locally stored data from your device.
6. Your Choices and Rights
- Location permissions can be changed at any time in your device settings; the App's navigation features require them to function.
- Deletion. You may request deletion of any data we hold about you by contacting us at the address below.
- Depending on where you live (for example, California, Texas, or the EU/EEA), you may have additional rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information. We honor verified requests regardless of residency.
7. Children's Privacy
RideAhead is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we design the App to collect the minimum data necessary to work.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the App evolves. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date, and where appropriate, noted in the App.
